Organisation Details Heavy Sound CIC is an award winning social enterprise set up to re-engage and develop some of the most vulnerable or disadvantaged young people and adults in Scotland. We make learning work by re-engaging participants through innovative and alternative music and creative engagement projects involving rapping, song writing, DJ’ing, electronic music production, graphic design and film making, as well as mentoring. The projects teach young people new skills, whilst addressing issues around self confidence, self esteem and general wellbeing by exploring self expression in a fully supported environment.
Organisation Services - An award winning Community Benefits offering that scores well with buyers but that is reportable and requires minimal time from you. We will work with you to deliver your Community Benefits commitments on your behalf. - Innovative learning solutions - hip hop, rapping, song writing, DJ’ing, electronic music production, graphic design and film making, and mentoring. - We work with local authorities, NHS, education, social housing, social care, central government, prison service, private sector.
