Partnership for Procurement

P4P will provide support to social enterprises and other third sector organisations looking to form partnerships and consortia in their efforts to access more of the investment currently being driven through the public procurement market.

P4P is resourced via the Scottish Government’s ‘Building a Sustainable Social Enterprise Sector in Scotland - Action Plan 2017-2020’ and will be hosted by Senscot.

What will the P4P support involve?

  • Awareness raising – an ongoing programme of engagement, events, surgeries and promotion on the benefits of partnership and consortia working.
  • P4P Resources – a series of online tools that will include templates on best practice; tender ready documents; key learning points and checklist of mandatory documents.
  • Partnership/Consortia Development – working with individual organisations and groups of organisations to increase their ‘readiness’ to bid for public sector contracts. Organisations will be actively supported during all stages in the development of effective partnerships and consortia.
  • Tendering support service – technical knowledge, resources and practical skills required to tender for public sector contracts.
